This would make Dinar Valeev the new Russian Champion - what a surprise

There are the other two rounds at Kamensk Ural next weekend first, but Valeev was doing well this week

The final starts at 8am GMT on Friday and Saturday, and I'm hoping Kamesk Ural will have a live feed both days. Soon as I know any links I'll post them here. If you aren't able to watch it, then you can follow DutchGrassTrack's updates for Friday here: https://live.baansportfansite.nl/event/261/russisch-kampioenschap-ijsspeedway-ronde-3-kamensk-uralsky.html and Saturday here: https://live.baansportfansite.nl/event/262/russisch-kampioenschap-ijsspeedway-ronde-4-kamensk-uralsky.html

With Koltakov seeded to the Ice Speedway Gladiators series as defending champion, the battle is on for the remaining qualifying places. Should be a good couple of meetings, and as I'm only snapping at Chorley v Harrogate Town on Saturday, I should be able to watch all of Saturday's coverage!

In heat 8, when the rider caught the bales on the back straight, why was the rider in red (Makarov) also excluded from the rerun?

Seeing as Makarov was riding the inside line,i can only think at one stage he was with both wheels inside the line.Hard to see,but that is often the cause of an exclusion

Results from last nights Swedish League meeting.Franky Zorn with a 5 ride max,but could only help his team into 2nd behind the strong Svensson family,Ove Ledstrom and Martin Haarahiltunen, looking very strong.Hans Weber,Harald Simon and Jan Klatovsky the best of the rest
