No. The Belle Vue promotion have passed him off. They could have had him in the team instead of Drodz. But they didn’t.

I understand it isn't easy for those who have difficulty grasping facts but as Jacobs has said he needs to double up to continue racing it follows that Belle Vue couldn't have had him instead of Drozdz unless he was also offered a CL team slot.

My opinion is that the culprits here are the BSPA who have abandoned the two Brits per team rule. They should've instead implemented it in both the PL and CL instead of encouraging teams to sign more foreign riders. That wouldn't necessarily guarantee Jacobs a team place but certainly helps British riders to get places and to progress.

Ditto Poole could have had Perks instead of Szczpaniak, but they didn't.  Poole have passed him off too.

Always an excuse. You didn't use him last year or this. He rode out of his skin for the Aces and you've effectively ended his career.

Remind when Perks achieved his average with Poole?

And the team most to blame are......

Why are Belle Vue to blame ? Its the ridiculous rules / regulations implemented by the BSPA

that are responsible for British riders like Jacobs being lost to the sport , rather than any one team

Joe was at a similar low ebb after being ditched by Wolves and it especially hurt seeing three Brits replaced by two. He alway felt it was him that was replaced by a foreigner.

He was pleased as punch when we offered him a full season and is baffled and none to pleased that no other top flight club was so benevolent towards him.

He must be gutted that a lack of a team place in the CL means he cannot take advantage of Belle Vues back the Brits policy.

Don't be stupid. So every club that uses a rider one year is responsible for giving him a team place the following year or even two years later if nobody else does. If that is true then presumably Wolves have potentially ended Perks career.

So?

If you are happy that clubs ditch their British riders to retirement  than there is nothing else to add really.

He wasn't ditched by Wolves. He rode a full season for us in 2014. Belle Vue couldn't be bothered either in 2017. Must have been the ultimate kick in the throat.  Certainly comes across that way.

Rye house did that by dropping a rider who was doing his job. He looked already beaten in Wolves colours after that.

I didn't say that.

Belle Vue fans are the ones who are claiming how well Jacobs did and how good he is. Yet none of you seem at all keen to have him in your side, but expect others to do so?

It's not stupid, it's not rubbish. Belle Vue leaving Jacobs on his average has finished his top flight career and seemingly his career entirely. Again I re-iterate I don't blame them for not picking him.

Perhaps there is a case in a situation such as this where a rider has such an extreme split between home and away that if he signs for another club there is a form of average reduction... unfortunately of course it would be open to abuse.

People missing the point entirely.

Joe Jacobs needed to do 2 leagues not one so Belle Vue didnt take him on its as simple as that!!

As for Shovlar talking about loyalty do us a favour and keep your mouth closed, Howarth, Newman, Ellis to name but 3 and now have an asset inPerks they dont wnat and would rather get in a Pole.........but thats ok beacuse its Poole hypocrite
