Here's my theory then....

Some time ago, a young boy riding bikes set up a facebook account.   To have a facebook account you have to be 13 (or is it 16 in some places).  So the kid used a fake date of birth to make his account appear legal.

Years later, and now aged somewhere between 18 and 21 , he's eligible to ride in U-21 events and sign for a British Club.

Someone at the BSPA offices (instead of checking his passport for DOB as required) just logs on to facebook and picks up the fake DOB used all those years ago.

Makes sense

Pleased to see Jason Doyle riding in the 90th anniversary meeting.

it was good to see him praise British Speedway in recent times.

With the field being assembled maybe it would be worth trying to do a streaming?

Presume the meeting is not bound by any BSPA TV contract?

The team who film the action at BV are excellent, with HD coverage, so maybe time to dip the toe in the water to see if it can attract an on line audience..?

I would imagine if promoted well there would be a crowd of 2500 - 3000, so plenty of potential fans around the country to attract who cannot be there on the night..

I see the Aces have signed a partnership with Sparta Wroclaw,

Could see more Polish youngsters like Drozdz at the NSS ?

That’s great for you guys.

Pity the 2nd and 3rd best rider are pirate assets.

The agreement is about helping to develop youngsters at both clubs not riders unlikely to ride in the UK.

Well Wroclaw have a pretty poor history of making there own riders.

They just sign them when they are young from other teams.

Did it with Drabik

milik, Lebedevs. Club you need to do it with is Torun. They are the guys when it comes to young poles.

I agree , but i still don't understand why you say  "its a pity two of their top riders are Poole assets" ?

It as no relevance regarding this deal , unless of course we were after signing Lebedevs or Milik?,

Teaming up with Wroclaw is a good step forward for both clubs.

Perhaps there could be a Colts v Wroclaw's junior side

Why would you not want to get those guys??

Don't think Drodz is really ever going to get to that level.

Milik and Lebedevs can't or won't ride in the UK so what's the point of going after them

Sod the interclub stuff. This is surely a great partnership if it helps give the Aces British youngsters a way into Poland earlier.

The tie up can only help the youngsters of both clubs, how often do we hear of young British riders not getting the chance to race on the continent? This will allow both teams kids to experience riding abroad, some people don't appear to be able to see the bigger picture, just wanting to sign ready made riders with no vision for the future.
