Absolutely gutted.

He's started the season in great form. On that average he's irreplaceable home & away. Oh & he's a great ambassador for our club & British speedway as a whole. Get well soon Stevie, hopefully back in Aces (& Scunny) colours as soon as possible.

Right now Ricky Wells looks best bet from rider who rode last season, if you want average for average.

6.75 average.

Unless BV went for a re-declared team already.

Bring Smith in for Jye which gives an extra 2 points and could get a 8.75 rider in?

Could bring in K.Bjerre and Smith in for Worrall and Jye E.

Would not be a bad move?

I thought you could not have 2 riders at an over  8.00 average.

Patrick Hougaard got to be the best choice.

Lasse Bjerre?

Glad you corrected yourself about the 2 over 8. We don't want any more teams gaining an unfair advantage.

He's a Poole fan.   Rules don't count.

Hey I don’t like the rule.

Would like to still have seen Freddie, Bjerre in the league.

His full leg is in plaster cast which tells me it could be a very bad break and may be season ending.

If we were to do s straight swap then I would go for Eric Riss, lassie bjerre or Patrick hougaard.

But they make us weaker so as cruel as it seems maybe a squad rebuild would be better

Stevie drozdz and jye out. Bringing in lassie, Eric and auty

Cook

L bjerre

E Riss

Tungate

Fricke

Auty

Bewley

Worrall has been riding well so a blow for Belle Vue. This is a problem for the premiership clubs, when a rider gets injured riding in the championship. Hope he makes a speedy recovery.

It is but it could happen with any league, Premiership riders could get injured riding in Poland, Denmark, Sweden or wherever. Scunny is one of the safest tracks around so just have to put it down to sheer bad luck. Get well soon Steve Worrall.

Awful news, thought Stevie would be in for a great season.

I agreed, team needs rebuilding, quite like the look with Lasse/Auty in for Worrall/Jye

I expected Worrall to have a good season and no doubt it’s a blow for Belle Vue.

The riders so far suggested are not as good as Worrall. Hougaard flatters to deceive, while Lasse Bjerre has his moments. Auty has got as far as he is going to go in the sport.

Time needed by the promotion for a rethink.
