If Poole wanted Drodz do you think we would be able to get him on a 4? Of course not.

If anyone other than Poole wanted Woryna and Szczpaniak do you think they'd be allowed to get them on less than the 5.00 of similar (or weaker) Poles like Drozdz?  Of course not.

Drodz is new so 5.0 seems right. Don’t think he’s a 6. Poole’s 2 poles both have official averages.

Did not have a go at Poole.Just said the person working out the averages has no common sense. If you think that 2 better riders should have a lower average then you are in the same boat. Drodz going off the better Poles averages should imo have been assessed at 4 no matter what team he rides for

There is no conspiracy theory although some on here actually believe that is the case.

The two poles Poole signed were available to all clubs. Whether the other clubs could have put together a package to attract them is another matter.

Drodz could well turn out to be a sensational signing, adapting to British tracks better than our two Poles. Different country, different track, and Drodz might instantly settle in the big wide open spaces of NSS, which is similar to Polish tracks. And of course he will probably take one look at Monmore and ask where the real speedway track is!

If Drodz clicks and scores a bucketload of points and people moan, you can say he was there for any club to pick up.

It’s not about having a go at Poole, it’s more about what Belle Vue have to contend with.

Drozdz would be four anywhere else, no question.

The only good thing to come out of this is a list has now been produced though not available to fans. We were too far down the road with Drozdz and this was known to the list compiler but we’re still hopeful of a correct assessment.

Or he could take one look at Monmore and think... I'm a really skilful rider and just like Piotr I have the ability to ride this well

They have old averages. And Woryna's old 4.something ave seems a bit of a joke considering how he is riding and who he's beating now.

Spanners ave is about 4 years old? and he seems to have improved and they have put his ave down I think !

I'm not getting at Poole if these riders could have signed for any team on those ave's,Im guessing Lebedevs could be had on his old 4.something average too.Bargain of the season?

Lions had Lebedevs signed up initially last season (before him and Wolbert made way for King and Bates). His average had been assessed to 7.00 then

His average then was subject to the increase all riders without a CL average had imposed on them. This was removed later in the season.

From what we have been told he isn’t now a 4.

So if over 200 on the list are on a 4 that puts Drodz as ranked inside the worlds top 50

Id say your assessment is more accurate Phil....

TBF, he finished 42 in the Polish league averages. What 8 riders didn't ride in Poland that you would say are top 50 in the World to knock him out of the top 50? Bearing in mind you also have to replace any top 50 riders who already have Premiership averages (like Lindgren, Doyle etc). I'd suggest he should be higher than 4, 5 seems more than fair. He averaged the same as  Przedpełski who is a 7 and not a lot less than Thorssell who is 8.5! He got more than Musliak who is about 7.5 too.
