Leicester Lions 2018

If Lededevs comes to the Uk I will be amazed. Is now a top 20 rider in the world and doesnt need the UK. Has nice safe rides at Wroclaw and Smernda.

Yet they have just signed 9th in the World Vaculik. Hmm

Lebedevs is a better rider than Vaculik. Would rather have him than Vaculik.

Ohh I agree he is a great signing. I want to see Leicester do well. We want a league where a team isnt coming bottom every year.

Think you can do that now. Any team which has Danny King as its 2nd heat leader will struggle. He is a 3rd heat leader and never higher in the Prem.

Leicester have always resisted moving to a another night, and have preferred to ride Saturdays with loads of guests. So seems strange they've gambled on signing an expensive rider with no TV money and the uncertainty of what crowd levels will be midweek.

Hopefully their gamble will pay off.

If he wasn't for averages, he'd have been riding for Leicester LAST season. And I don't think he personal thiks he is any better than this time last year. He was already this good BEFORE this season.

Personnaly I would like to see all but Pawel back + Valusek who we know has already signed. Obviously the Averages have to meet the requirements.

No TV money , does that mean there will be no Speedway on TV ? I only keep Virgin for the BT speedway .if it's not going to be on I can ditch freeview with Asian channels and save a few bob

No one knows yet, but if BT are going to show it, it's highly likely they won't be paying for the privilege.

On what basis?

Polish and Swedish averages?

In Poland Martin 11th on 2.036, Andrey 38th on 1.523

https://speedwayekstraliga.pl/statystyki/lista-klasyfikacyjna/lista-klasyfikacyjna-2017/

In Sweden Martin 17th 1.729, Andrey 21st 1.714

http://www.svemo.se/sv/Grenar/Speedway/Elitserien2017/Rankinglista/

so not sure what logic you are using but it seems misguided at best.

Lebedevs was pretty poor in the last few months of the season for Wroclaw, although I get he performed well in SEC . If I had to choose one then it would be Milik.

The logic being that Vaculik signed for Leicester and not Poole
