Peterborough Panthers 2018

Recommended Posts

Kennett replacing a second string can only improve Panthers amd should enable us to move Ostergaard away from the number 5 slot.

If Lambert actually finds some consistent form that is very solid.

Nicholls

BWD

Ostergaard

MPT

Kennett

Bacon

Lambert

Well done Peterborough, obviously a club with ambition (there aren't that many in the Championship).

Hope the 2 injured guys get back to action soon and would welcome either of them back but now I think we really have a solid looking team that could do well...when eventually we have some fixtures!.. on another subject am I right in saying that if we beat Ippo in the championship shield we are relying on Workington to only get 4pts out of their remaining 2 fixtures for us to go through?

If Workington beat Glasgow, semi-final qualification is in our own hands. If Glasgow win at Workington tomorrow, Workington could then still push us out of the reckoning by taking a four-point win at Edinburgh.

PETERBOROUGH’S injury jinx has struck again – with new signing Edward Kennett ruled out before even turning a wheel for the club.
Kennett agreed a deal with the T.Balfe Construction Panthers last week to replace Emil Grondal, but he has now suffered a broken arm during his World Longtrack semi-final in the Czech Republic.
The Great Britain star has been in touch with Panthers bosses, and has had a double fracture which is to be operated on when he returns to the UK.
With Kennett yet to appear for the Panthers, they will revert to their previous team declaration whilst considering their next move.
Promoter Ged Rathbone said: “It’s absolutely devastating news, we were very much looking forward to having Edward in the team, and naturally we wish him all the best.
“With him not having ridden for us yet there would be no facility for him, so we have to revert to our declaration including Emil Grondal and look at our options again.
“The management are already in talks over what to do next, hopefully we’ll be able to pull another rabbit out of the hat, but our thoughts are very much with Edward and the other injured lads.”

Has Ged ran over a black cat or something.

That really is a right kick in the crown jewels.

That really is rotten luck. How long would a broken arm sideline Kennett for? Presume we wouldn't get a facility either?

Correct, if a rider hasn't ridden at least one meeting for a club then you don't get a facility.
