Interesting comment in Speedway Star today saying that Woffy was seriously considering racing in the UK in 2018 with 2 night racing being introduced. Until he was told his average was about to 'rocket'.

Wonder if the original line up might have been Fred,  Piotr and Tai? ? That would have been awesome! !

Even Jacob plus the duo would have been superb.

According to SS it looks like Vacilik will be an 8 as a newcomer, yet others who missed racing here in 2016 could be different,  you just can't try and make a bigger mess up if you tried!

We can't afford Lindgren... so little hope of affording three of them.

Shame, although Tai on a 9 would make more sense than Thorssell on 8.64.

Think he might had been using the average thing for an excuse.

I doubt Pawlicki would have been as expensive as Lindgren.  He is not a GP rider anymore, so I see no reason why he shouldn't come back on his 7.32 2014 average. Would have reveled in proving himself as a #1 in a league.  Would have been a much better option than Thorsell & Masters & Schlien.

Other than it had already been stated he had been re-assessed.

But so was Vaculik, who is now 8. Apparently.. If the BSPA were capable of publishing facts, this sport would not be in the mess it is in. The uncertainty certainly erks me allot.

Just hope we didn't jump the gun in signing the riders have a nagging doubt.

They will probably say once the season starts riders can return to their original averages to make it even more of a farce.

Another issue - is what Ave would Fred be on if we needed him. We all agree clarity is needed. Maybe a calclator system could be linked to the BSPA website.

I'd assume his current average. But with the BSPA it could be anything.

9.29 Freddie Lindgren

8.64 Jacob Thorssell

8.00 Tai Woffinden

8.00 Piotr Pawlicki

Before the one 8 point rider got voted in there was thoughts of using possibly three of these for the new season but with that rule coming in it meant you can only sign one and the loss of the TV deal meant on a business setting you had to go with possibly the cheapest option.

With the accidents and injuries suffered by the Swedish pair, Woffinden or Pawlicki do look the bargain signings but at least one could become available if the new averages come out and allow them to come in
