Islander15 1,062 Posted October 5, 2017 Lakeside take a 16 point lead to the NSS but the Colts have Bewley & Smith riding. However the Hammers conveniently have Nick Laurence R/R and have brought Edwards into reserve.

The Hammers' website just says 'unavailable' re Nick - read into that what you will.
marko 956 Posted October 5, 2017 Maybe he is locked up somewhere for impersonating a speedway rider hope its the last we see of him to be honest when it comes to wearing the Hammers race jacket.

East End Fan 426 Posted October 6, 2017 Wish I could get to this one. Will be a great meeting without a doubt. Could go either way and the inclusion of Jason Edwards seems a sensible move. Great prospect if we win to face either Eagles or Kings in the Final. Either way should put a smile on Cook's face with the prospect of a decent crowd. BobC 664 Posted October 6, 2017 Best of luck to the Colts tonight. Hope they go on to win and complete a League and Cup double.
bellevueace 912 Posted October 6, 2017 (edited) Well the Colts have not failed to win by less than 16 all season at home and that's without Lee Payne who was averaging around 9, with Dan and Jack back along with Rob, and Kyle I expect the Colts to pull this back, if the Hammers restrict us to less than 16 it will be a great effort from them. Phil The Ace 2,853 Posted October 6, 2017 With Jason Edwards getting 7 rides this could be closer than ppl think
gazzac 1,013 Posted October 6, 2017 A lot depends on the first 5/6 heats, if Lakeside hold their own and all of a sudden it's still a 15 point deficit with 9 heats to go anything can happen, on the flip side a few 5/1's to BV and a 4/6 deficit will quickly come to them and they'll romp away and be in the final. teaboy279 1,038 Posted October 6, 2017 Regulation win for BV by about 30 points I reckon.
marko 956 Posted October 6, 2017 A lot rests on Clegg, Hurry and Morley, all riders capable of hitting double figures on most tracks, but on this one?.......................................................
