solrac 313 Posted October 6, 2017 Same old story, no matter what division we are in, hopeless away. Tbf, everyone gets slaughtered at Belle Vue. Not sure if it's to do with the bike set ups or not.

acef 795 Posted October 6, 2017 At the end of the day this is national league racing and all about development. I actually think it's a pretty sad state of affairs that in a league dominated by young British riders, the closest any team has got to the Colts is 16 points at the NSS. It's a big fast race track and 90% haven't a clue how to ride it. Out of the box, we are not producing enough talent. Only Watjenect has done anything of note here and he is clearly a talent. Otherwise, apart from home riders, where Dan Bewley is an outrageous talent, there really isn't anything. As a nation we need to get our heads around big fast tracks. They'll never make it otherwise.

The Voice Of Reason 2,124 Posted October 6, 2017 So Lakeside don't make the final. Therefore, I wonder what the minimum 14th Home Meeting (as promised by the Promotion pre-season) is going to be? Over to you Jon Cook.
Islander15 1,062 Posted October 6, 2017 When are the Colts planning on running their home leg of the final? With both the Aces & Colts still in KOC action there looks a bit of a fixture pile up.
WestGorton1884 621 Posted October 6, 2017 Just got back from the NSS , what a talent British speedway has on its hands in Dan Bewley
acef 795 Posted October 6, 2017 Just hope he doesn't get destroyed like so many before him
colin wood 249 Posted October 6, 2017 Kyle Bickley at 15 years old is also a massive talent.Brady Kurtz was in the PC suite after the meeting signing autographs for young fans.
mikec 412 Posted October 6, 2017 Really tough night for Lakeside, no lack of effort, just completely outgunned. Highlights for Hammers was the third to first ride from Clegg to pass Bickley & Shuttleworth, Morley had a decent crack at Smith & Bewley late on. Plenty of rides, & invaluable experience for Jason Edwards tonight. Great to see the performance of young Woodhull tonight, has really progressed through the year. Luke looks pretty awkward on the bike, but he's quick. If he loosens up a bit could be a decent rider in there. Agree with Bickley comments, not sure on age barrier but would like to see him in the main team next season. Rules depending I think the main aces team will be Australian dominated in 2018
B.V 72 1,054 Posted October 6, 2017 Tbf, everyone gets slaughtered at Belle Vue. Not sure if it's to do with the bike set ups or not.To be fair last year we got beat twice at home and a lot of the meetings were much closer I just think that we have a bloody good team this year.Who of course all ride our track very well.
