After sticking to the promise of their Australian Championship winner and runners-up getting to the Etihad as wild card and reserves, MA (presumably, or maybe BSI/IMG) have disregarded Troy Batchelor and Nick Morris (the next finishers in the 2017 Title series) to pick 7th placed Brady Kurtz as second reserve for the GP.

So?? They've not broken any promise's, have they?

If Watt gets 2 points he has done better than I expect, could be worse than Bunyan.

He should have refuse to take a place in this GP as he retired a few months ago Very selfish of him.

What a shocking go line up.

Gotta question the point of an Aussie gp when logistics rule out Milik and a retired (Watt) and injured and being covered by a facility as we speak (Sedge) get to ride when they cannot cut it in the alleged weakest league in Europe.

See Darcy repeating his comms that Chris Holder will come good next year. Look back 12months and he said same then. Not worthy of a wild card because he won 5 years ago, but sure monster Joe will sort it for him.

It is the problem with a GP on the other side of the world. In fact it is the problem with any international meeting.Argentina or elsewhere. Not many people will be willing to ride at the last minute when they have little or no chance,so you end up with riders who are already there. The same has happened often enough in Russia for instance for world or european competitions.I even remember someone who didn't bother to appear for a run-off to the next round of a competition as he knew it would be tooooo far to be worth it.

Pathetic and more reasons for the rest of the sporting and commercial world to ignore speedway. Who the hell made such a ridiculous decision inside IMG? Any young Aussie would be more worthy of the place.
