Sheffield V Leicester Prom./rel. Play Offs 1st & 2nd Legs

Recommended Posts

The Lakeside situation isnt a mockery. They were an established top flight team with a top flight licence which has been 'on ice' this year whilst certain matters were sorted.

They raced in the NL to maintain a prescence and are perfectly entitled to retake their place in the top flight.

Dont disagree that the promotion/relegation tie could be described as a mockery though.

Fair point regarding Lakeside, but if relegation/promotion is to work, and be taken seriously, you can`t have a team simply being air lifted from the bottom tier of speedway into the top league.

Tatum has just said Nicholls can`t have an R/R ride- well he can !!!!!!

Just as well Kelvin isn't a team-manager!

All the best

Leicester will beat Sheffield over two legs.

And then get relegated?😲

And get replaced by Sheffield?😂

Leicester will beat Sheffield over two legs.

And yet people will still say that a Championship team is nearly as strong as a Premiership team.

Always will be nonsense.

The Lions just way too superior over the championships finest.

What a bore fest so far.

A Championship winning team could usually be expected to finish their season on a real high.

... or some bright spark could come up with this daft idea.

To end with a damp squib.

Real brain boxes those promoters aren't they?

Will BT Sport opt out of showing the second leg? this is so very one sided and i must admit i did not expect it, I am sure Sheffield are better than this however the score is what it is and there always has been a sizable gap between the first and second divisions, I think even if Kings Lynn had finished bottom they would have enough over two legs to take on the best of the Championship teams, its down the order where it really shows.

Was always going to be one sided.

Sheffield missing Grajczonek and Howarth.

T. Kurtz struggles to score points at reserve when guesting in the top flight.

Bates is a reserve in the top flight.

Wood is still learning his trade.

Graversen couldn't cut it in the top flight.

What a circus!!!

Kelvin and Nigel might be trying to entertain new supporters ( not that there will ever be any with this farce). But I hate to tell you that we all already know that neither team will be in the premier next season.

And for Christ sake stop going on about the Leicester reserve riders have 12 points between them. Of course they have they are middle order riders in the championship.

It's like watching WWF Wrestling nothing is real!!!

Still light years ahead of that crap at Wolves though!

simple---just dont tell them, its 7 riders and againts 7 riders

Mickey Flanagan does a great story about how blokes with ridiculous wigs walk down the street expecting the rest of the population to collude with them that what is on top of their head is actually their own original hair....

Similarly, British Speedway expects us fans to collude with them that what we are watching actually has credibilty and not to 'spill the beans' to any newbies..☺

Sheffield clearly want to be in the Premiership (not), what a complete farce of a meeting. Its an obvious fix, Kelvin and Nigel not doing a good job of making it look competitive, Sheffield riders clearly not trying. Joke!
