Sheffield V Ipswich Sgbcl Ko Cup S/f 1st & 2nd Legs

Recommended Posts

Hope Ben is ok, nasty looking accident.

Second leg will depend on what guest/s Ipswich can muster up I think. Winning there twice on the spin is probably wishful thinking, but hopefully we can push them and get a result.

If we are to have a chance in the 2nd leg Scott Nicholls needs to step up to the plate and score big points for the tigers, which he can do around Ipswich. So it should be a very close match and should be well worth watching. It also depends on the Ipswich line up. Kyle Newman looked to have a nasty crash tonight,so i would be surprised if he rides tomorrow. But good luck to the champions utt.

A bit harsh on Sheffield awarding heat 15 at the end of the second lap , there was still some racing to do in that race.

Scotty will decide the outcome of this , all the best Kyle and Ben.

They beat us at foxhall last time, so what are we gonna do different to turn losing into a 13 point win????

Bear in mind Sheffield will likely have r/r instead of Howarth this time though.

Ben Barker's crash was horrible, best wishes to him.

Was convinced we wouldn't pull it back last time, so didn't bother going. But if we get the right guest for Kyle, and Mr R/R does a bit better then I think we've got a small chance. Seems like the majority of major trophies in both divisions will be decided by injuries, we all know it's part of the sport, but I've never known it have such a big impact as the business end of the season.

It's not gonna be yet another so near but so far season surely. Howarth is a massif miss for them. All we need to do is keep bates or bjerre scoring not much and we win. Last time bates was pretty good too, so..stop him winning races.

But we haven't got a Nicholls type rider to do that.....
