spin king 1,918 Posted November 21, 2017 Sorry to hear about Lasse, he was box office at home last season. Still not convinced that Josh G will be coming back, so how about the following; (1) Howarth (2) Wilson Dean (3) Covatti (4) Bates (5) Jorgensen (6) Shanes (7) Wood
Blackadder 280 Posted November 21, 2017 It could be the answer to James Sarjeant's starting issues that plans to reduce the number of false starts have been given to the SCB.

psycho3a 101 Posted November 22, 2017 (edited) We have only released Lasse as josh and Kyle are committed.. So far we have : Josh G Kyle H Georgie I would then assume Josh B Next it comes a choice of Todd or Jan After that its anyones guess.. If you looking at lower average reserves : Sergeant for me is a good shout especially if the starting regulations help.. Robert Branford? JPB Middle order : Lewis Kerr Kyle Newman Paul Starke Charles Wright Edited November 22, 2017 by psycho3a
Cue Ball 416 Posted November 22, 2017 I think the JPB boat has sailed and I cant see him coming back to us. I also think that Josh B may well move on to pastures new, for a season at least, to help him develop.

After what he did this year can't see him coming back for a long time, unless he does some grovelling. Also Kerr and Sarge bound for Glasgow from what they're saying! Also thought Josh Bates was wanting to come back after this years success.
OdsalBoy 181 Posted November 22, 2017 What do we think the chances stand at for Dan Bewley being a Sheffield Rider in 2018 ?

4thbender 382 Posted November 22, 2017 Are we being softened up for a Bates announcement soon?.... http://www.sheffieldspeedway.co/news.php?extend.2467
OdsalBoy 181 Posted November 23, 2017 Are we being softened up for a Bates announcement soon?.... http://www.sheffieldspeedway.co/news.php?extend.2467 I was thinking along the same lines, a very cryptic post by Sheffield on Josh Bates there. I still think he will remain with Sheffield for 2018, despite interest from other teams.

Blackadder 280 Posted November 23, 2017 In this week's SS, Damian Bates says that ideally, he hopes the first signings will be completed this week.
psycho3a 101 Posted November 23, 2017 Right its sorted for 2018 : Josh G 9.47 Dan Bewley 5.95 Josh Bates 6.54 Kyle Newman 6.10 or David Howe 6.18 Kyle Howarth 8.62 James Sergeant 3.33 Georgie Wood 2.31 For me every rider would maintain there average but i feel 4 could possibly put a point on there starting average
graz gp 184 Posted November 23, 2017 I have not seen any announcement that we have signed Josh G, Howarth or Woods. I hope it is true but not seen anything.
