2018 Warsaw Gp

Recommended Posts

Cook backed out of every confrontation. He gated in one and was second but made sure he went wide to avoid any risk. P*ss poor. Harris struggled badly at times but always tried to get stuck in. Is Cook going to be the worst ever full GP rider in the history of the competition? I hope not.

Good meeting.  Have to say Warsaw has overtaken Cardiff now.  Packed stadium and great atmosphere.  You've got to admire the Poles, they really love and support Speedway.

He was always going to be way out of his depth, I want him to do well but fear what we saw tonight could be the norm, my pre season fear was how a poor GP series could impact negatively on his BV form, we saw last season after a poor Cardiff and WC that negative impact. His club form hasn,t really taken off yet either.

He will be much worse than Bomber as on tonights effort he isn't willling to go where he may get hurt.    If he gets 5pts in any GP meeting he will have gone above my expectation.    At this level crashing is part of the deal.     I want him to do well but doubt he will.      I can see Lambert being picked for Manchester.

Lambert is going to be in anyway as U21 rider.

Unless Cook does better in Prague the top two should be Lambert and Woofy.      Bewley as reserve.

On first showing in SGP, Cook is the new Harris.

Looking on the bright side, he'll win a GP, eventually;)

Cook did worse than I expected but I think woofinden actually scored less in his first gp as a full time gp rider!

Gutted that none of the top three are riding in the UK, clubs that can afford these gp superstars (Poole? wolves?) should be bringing them in instead of making excuses not to.

Why?   Bewley is head and shoulders above Lambert at the NSS

Has to be Woffinden, Cook and Bewley if we're using our best riders

Do you think we might struggle to qualify if we don't go for the absolute best around the NSS? Surely the best for Wrocław is what we should be picking, unless we plan to fake some injuries after the semi final.

Pick the best two for Wroclaw not Manchester.       We would have to have a terrible night not to qualify with Woffinden and Lambert against the opposition in our semi final.

Our best three riders include Lambert.  Bewley might give Lambert a run around NSS, but Lambert is a better rider overall.

DON'T forget GB have to use the same three riders at Wroclaw assuming they qualify...

To me our top 3 riders are so obvious,   Woffy, Cook and Lambert are way better than anyone else. The trouble UK have is they are light years behind some of the other countries...

I love Dan but he has a way to go before being as well rounded as Lambert. Might be a season too early for him but he is getting there.

Thought Cook looked the same he has in a lot of his NSS meetings so far...well down on both confidence and power. Whatever changes he made in the winter dont seem like they have worked. Hope he can bounce back tomorrow.
