About three out of seven. If Scott decides to ride in the Championship it is likely to be with Ipswich. As an asset of Glasgow, Richard will remain there whilst I don't think we shall see Robert back and Robin appears to have retired. Yes, I believe Edward will return and I would be extremely surprised if Ben and Zach are not included. I'm not sure who else though. Lewis (Kerr) seemed to like us and Jon has a great relationship with Kim (Nilsson) despite suggesting an all British line-up. Will former rider, Justin Sedgmen be here in 2018 as well?

Those of us who supported the Hammers during the Pete Thorogood years have a good working of the north already, However I think Jon Cook might need one!

The talk seems to be that the Glasgow team is being broken up and rebuilt so there is more than a fair chance he will come to Lakeside, plus it looks like he will stay with Somerset, and it would suit him to stay in the South rather than running the length of the country.

Lakeside will surely be natural home for Edward and he can probably earn more points money there than anywhere else.

Zach, as an asset, must surely be nailed on, but Ben will will probably have to wait to see how the points limit pans out. The two of them will be a good reserve pairing, especially at home.

Lewi Kerr tweeted a couple of weeks ago that has his two clubs lined up which perhaps tends to suggest he will be elsewhere.

Sedgie might be a bit erratic but he’s not Brit and Cookie did say he wants an all British team. On the other hand will Lewis Bridget be tempted back.

Finally, Kim. Not a Brit but almost more than any other rider at this level will put bums on seats, and would be the crowds favourite, but the two problems are Thursday tracks that might clash with the Swedish Alvestan league, and secondly whether he would want to fly in and out twice a week if he had a Premier League club as well. I would love to see Kim back.

The good Friday or bank holiday home and away meets with the Witches also seemed to be well attended, I hope we will see a return to them in 2018

Me too definitely. We haven’t had a Good Friday meeting for a couple of seasons though but that was because of the fixture clashes and losing riders to Premiership teams.

Maybe we’ll see a return this year with no Premiership meetings on Fridays.

Ive noticed reading this thread that theres a lack of postings from Nobby, used to be a regular poster and we had some good friendly banter back in the day.

Hope the fellow is ok..

I was going to mention that on my post actually Taps. I know theyre going with Mondays and Wednesdays, but I wondered if they were going to make an exception for Bank Holidays.. Edited by Arch Stanton

.

I haven't seen Nobby for a couple of years. As far as I know he is OK but maybe has become an ex-fan. Maybe a visit from Ippo will bring him back

thanks for that. Surprised as he was a very passionate Hammers supporter and Speedway in general. Maybe you’re right and the move up a League will help light the fire again.
