I think that was the original type deal but later changed to just paying the clubs who were shown on tv.

THE meeting fee was in addition to the lump sum. Sky paid off their contract earlier this year (rumoured to be £600,000) and that money was distributed amongst the PL tracks.

I thought the lump sum stopped a year or two ago just leaving the meeting fee?.

AGM stuff from Wolves talk in Monday night.

AGM STUFF.........

No TV deal in place. More discussions to take place. Seems clubs aren't happy with no money deal.

Doyle is likely to be riding in the top flight (according to Pearson).

Pete Adams was at AGM, not CVS.

Neither agree with 1 rider over 8 rule or dropping of the 2 Brit rule.

9.00 averages for GP riders or riders out the UK for a season.

Only one Tactical substitute ride per meeting, in line with Europe (since when as wasn't the case in 2017???)

The minutes have yet to be checked and averages confirmed.

No restriction on DU riders.

The ISLB confirm that Poland should have priority on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. What happens on bank holiday Mondays is yet to be seen.

Not going to get a TV Deal thanks to Buster Chapman weakining the product even further.

Potential No.1's next season.

BV - Cook

Poole - B. Kurtz

Rye House - Harris

Swindon - N. Morris

So, presumably, this mean GP riders who have been out of the UK. So Zagar is now a 9? That scuppers any chance of him coming here. Vaculik also a 9.

What about people like Kildemand? Rode as a reserve and not in it this year. Does he become a 9 or does he retain his average?

Why scrap the 2 Brit rule? Makes no sense at all.

I guess PK is covered by the "riders out of UK for a season"

That must mean GP riders surely. They couldn't apply it to every single rider. Could they?

It certainly makes no sense. Surely if anything its just a reassessment for any rider missing a year? Even then I find it strange.

The BSPA prefer the word "mysterious" which sounds much more exciting and marketable.

How can anybody be surprised that there's no TV deal when the smaller clubs have once again voted to weaken the product? Now more news on fixed averages for GP riders has emerged......it just gets more ridiculous.

BT want to do a deal, it's some promoters that don't.

Probably the same ones who voted to dilute the product further? Still, I imagine the rate that BT is offering isn't as high as it could be if we actually aimed to attract GP riders with our rules, not the opposite.

Its been said on the Swindon Facebook page by a wolves fan that any GP rider will be 9 if they missed last season. This includes Kildemand. Also said that with a TV deal Somerset would look at Zagar/Killer as number 1 however without they cant affoed either. This is only what has been site on our page
