Workington 2018 .

Recommended Posts

I’m sure Newcastle would have had Rene back and airport there too, people (Rene) can say what they won’t or would do but can think differently later on.  I thought Rasmus did ok last time, hopefully we’ll hear an end of season speech from him again lol.  Looking forward to March..

With the crowd that Workington get their must be a money man somewhere 3 Danes ,Proctor,2 top young talents and Campton at reserve that's going to be a hefty wage bill.   I believe we tried for 3 of them but could not match Workies deals

even withthe crowd that glasgow get , the still lost money last season .

That kills the rumour that Rene said he would only ride for Glasgow and Newcastle in the UK, considering Newcastle have only signed two riders....

that was not a rumour , rene said that himself .

It would be extremely surprising if Workington were paying out more money than Glasgow could afford.

workington always pay within their means . (looks like some good meeting when you come up to worky hallytigger)

Think Manse is trying to reel one or two in HT one in particular.

Sheffield are just taking laura for a ride howarth can sign in march if no agrement on price is agreed and they will pay less than comets want after appeal so its a win win for them,2 teams want him yet no one wants to pay for him.

Rene's main sponsor was Sapphire Engineering, which was our sponsor and whose owner is Alan Hedley, who has just left Newcastle. In that it can be thought that it is not coincidence. If Rene was never in the thoughts for Glasgow's team,  Worky would not have to outbid them to get him.

If you could get him back to his 2010 form, he would be brilliant for you.

if workington want too much then it will go to arbitration

the problem with arbitration is its agreed by the bspa isnt it and we all know they look after there friends

but as kyle was in 2 tittle winning teams last year and they both want him back that suerly must up his value

get your hand in your pocket wolverhampton and buy him before sheffield do

id rather have him in the 2016 form when he was putting maximums in 2 or 3 times he visited workington with glasgow

he was out to prove a point  and did so in a way you took notice

No evidence of that for many years. The arbitration fees that I know about were just about spot on current values.

Given the general financial position of speedway at present and the further instability the likelyhood of no TV money adds then I would think transfer values are at rock bottom right now
