3 comets out in action tonight and all had a good night

kyle qualified for under 21's

dan top scored for belle vue and ty proctor had a decent start to his 2018 season

pitty theres no speedway at workingtonj Saturday when the boys will be full of confidence

Or next week as well,

IMO if we can't have weekly speedway early season when most people are looking forward to watching to see how a season will go, we should start later in the month/year.

Not having a go just an opinion :)

What a good night for watching speedway .............................

Same old same old?

By the time we get started again, in a fortnight's time, most teams will have completed their Shield fixtures and begun racing league instead, we on the other hand will be behind the eight ball, our usual start of the season position........... some thing's never change?? :(

Dejavu again, no fault of the promotion though.

Why is it, we always seem to be playing catch up, some clubs will actually have had 3 league meetings (weather permitting) before our first league meeting. Should be all clubs start their league fixtures in the same week, not a month in advance of other clubs.

You are right it always seems to be us playing catch up, why can't it be more like football where everyone is more or less on the same number of fixtures at any one time. I know weather plays a part, but it does rain in the North East and Scotland too.

funny thing though the 1 who arange's fixtures never seams to leave big gaps for a certain team now does he anyone would think hes biassed towards his own team suerly not in speedway

i think this weekend or the next weekend would have been an ideal start to our season with the Cumberland open . .  then we wold only have had 1 week to wait until the next meeting , i think !.

during that time the locals would have been chomping at the bit to see some speedway @ wucky. . but thats the way it pans out every year. we still see the same number of meeting , but the gap in between is like Japanese water torture !

ty seems to be going well A.T.M.

saving up for a splash out meal @ the cafe . honest . hopfully all will be good again . bring yer cash and spend , spend , spend .

I was mis-informed , it's the Saturday night fixture at Derwent Park which is the possible fixture for next weekend

Depending on Workington  riders being available, Glasgow are all okay
