Connor Mountain would fit (3.62) any takers?

No thanks. No offence to Connor, a talented young man and one who hopefully has a good future in the sport, but we've already got one of those who is, IMHO, a better prospect, four years younger and lives round the corner!

good to see that the bspa have just issued brand new rules on how  to run speedway as it should be run.  this information can be found on the speedway bspa web site  under the info banner . speedway as it should be,  at last .   a very compact and well worded document .

I think those Sunday meetings on the website are from the original fixture list, we do have a meeting this coming Saturday 28th and also the Sunday after 5th August

dont worry . as its a Sunday meeting there will be tons pf guests for worky to choose from .

now if it was a Friday as it was agreed at the start of the season .Ronald Reagan would have had  to come out of retirement ! ! ! .

I now wish we did not, gentlemanly, agree to postpone this meeting & rode on the 19th May when you had Klindt, Bewley & BWD missing & we only had Worrall. It would have stopped all the crap that has been posted this last month or more.

But it's not crap is it, and you know it .No way can you cover up what has happened . Meetings have been cancelled to aid Scunthorpe to be able to secure a better choice of guests . That is the real reason and it is out of order to cancel fixtures  just to give you a better choice of guests or to give you more time for your injured riders to recover.

Don't take it personally, Scunthorpe declined proposed fixtures until Worral was fit. Sheffield for other reasons and whilst you've got both those clubs and Leicester on the management committee there is no reasoning beyond their immediate wishes. Why oh why have they not come out with an explanation to allay any fears or allegations?????????

To save them from further embarrassment.

Can anyone from the promotion clarify what exactly is going with our home fixtures ???

This team could have finished the league top if the meetings were held yet looks like we going to lose out for not getting meetings in

Looking at Worky website no home meeting w/e 12/08/18 now  just away to Newcastle

So there's still Sheffield, Peterborough, Newcastle home meetings to get in with cut-off being sept 8th-9th ,

Now Jason Garrity is possibly injured, the "Management Committee" may now decide to also cancel the Aug 5th Meeting v Scunthorpe as well. After all, looking at the teams that are not racing that night ( Berwick, Edinburgh, Redcar and Sheffield), the choice of guests may mean another postponement is looming.

Could have raced the Championship meeting v Newcastle this weekend instead of the KOC. With every possibility that we won't get the Championship fixtures in, surely it would have made sense to do so.

All this b******s about having to get the KOC quarter finals raced before July 31st doesn't apply to the Peterborough and Lakeside meetings. Granted they also were told they couldn't run on the intended date, like Workington (July 13th).
