On the Ipswich forum that Ron Bagley has died ex boss in 1981 sad news .

Excellent article about Ron's time with the Comets in 1981 on the Comets Website, sympathy to friends and family.

I wasn't there but have been told it was packed and a good night. Natalie Quirk from BT Sports was the presenter and did a long Q & A with Kyle.  Belle Vue had asked Kyle to ride in the Championship too but he wants a year in the Championship first. There were people there from Belle Vue and Redcar.. Natalie has worked in other sports but has been a Belle Vue fan for years and is now doing her dream job. Proceeds were for Air Ambulance and fund after young Glasgow lad who died, drink spiked I think. Probably be in this weeks Star. My opinion.

I was there, it was a great night, plenty of support for our new no.7. Natalie Quirk was a brilliant compare and over £400.00 raised for charity to be split between Great North Air Ambulance and the Greg Mackie Trust , the young Speedway rider from Glasgow who passed away .

Will the snow be gone up your way by opening night?

Seen some horrendous bits on the news of 12 foot drifts etc

You lot always seem to get the worst of it

All the best to all still affected

West coast was fine just a wee few flakes, Carlisle and the lakes were hardest hit.
