flagrag 704 Posted November 16, 2017 It was all a very dodgy deal from the start as the money wasn't actually paid by the Torun club to Peterborough Speedway. It was a business transaction between the Torun main team sponsor and Ged Rathbone which is a private case so this makes it more difficult in law to prove any wrong doing. I have it on good authority that Matt Ford and Poole were fully aware of the situation as his work permit sponsor they had to put their details forward as well for it to be approved by PZM
ruffdiamond 6,115 Posted November 16, 2017 So it seems there was a few people involved and 1 or 2 are carrying the can for it,,, how did it all go wrong ? Probly best to put it away for now and, hopefully British speedway will learn from it and be a bit more stringent about it in the future. Money being the root of all evil and that Why sweep it under the carpet when it has got so far lets have it out in the open sort it out and make sure those involved know they are not going to walk al over British speedway, putting it to bed at this point would just be bottling it and would only set a president for others to refer back to .

This might be the ideal time to sort it all out, but if all involved are brought to book will British speedway be able to continue ? It seems that many's positions of authority would be in doubt.
