Did The Scb Hearing Scheduled For Tuesday 7/11 Take Place?

Recommended Posts

We will never know the truth ,but for the better of British Speedway let's hope this never happens again .Speedway has to be bigger than the riders and get back to entertaining the supporters

TIME FOR A WALK OUT BY THE FANS .

one or two meetings should do the trick !

and before everybody says , it will put all clubs futures in doubt . think what kind of damage this has done to british speedway .

so there was a bung , now there isnt . who the heck is in charge of our sport , cos it aint the scb/bspa . donald tru duck could do a better job .

so it IS time for the fans to vote with their feet and miss a few meetings ...

to be honest a few clubs have found out this past season fans have had enough of the clubs treating them with no respect at all

And a lot of them have already voted with their feet and it may be an impossible task to lure them back.

Let's be honest, at most tracks it would be difficult to notice which matches have been boycotted and which ones haven't.........

Don't think a boycott is the answer anyway really, given how parlous the situation is for many teams and I couldn't see those who still attend regularly being part of such an undertaking anyway...

Let's face it, if you are still a regular at Speedway you have over the years accepted an ever increasing inordinate amount of nonsense put in front of you so are probably now immune to anything else that may be forthcoming...

Therefore these 'die hards' will attend come what may..,

Whilst clearly money changed hands I think bung is possibly the wrong word for it. What happened seems to have been known from word go and certainly no attempt made to keep it secret, indeed that is the whole basis of the row between Rathbone and Godfrey.

It was all a very dodgy deal from the start as the money wasn't actually paid by the Torun club to Peterborough Speedway.

It was a business transaction between the Torun main team sponsor and Ged Rathbone which is a private case so this makes it more difficult in law to prove any wrong doing.

I have it on good authority that Matt Ford and Poole were fully aware of the situation as his work permit sponsor they had to put their details forward as well for it to be approved by PZM

Allegedly dodgy indeed! The good news is that as the tangled web unravels in front of us, Chapman's statement of:

"I am passionate about defending British Speedway. This is a major blow to the sport in the UK and the blame is very firmly at the door of Peterborough Speedway."

Looks rather selective and vindictive.

Something very strange going on here, I’ve just seen the SCB Statement, then the Article in today’s SS by Peter Oakes, they completed contradict each other,

In what respect do they differ so much.

And prejudicial to any fair hearing or inquiry if indeed it was Buster who made that statement and not someone else avoiding putting their own name to it, hmmmm

Worlds within worlds, secrets & lies and all hidden behind a smile. Men and women wearing the Blazers with pride and passion and saying " Everything will turn out fine, wait and see" - just like the band playing on the Titanic as it went down to it's deep dark final resting place.

As a side issue there is even some dispute over which tune the Titanic band was actually playing!!
