No suprise that Zengi got the 'OK' to go back to Poland. "Zengota comes back because that's how the system slot works. Friday is the day for PGE Ekstraliga Grzegorz Zengota was on the start list of the SEC elimination in Balakowo. The competition was supposed to take place on Thursday, but it was canceled and postponed until Friday. Zengota will not go on Friday. He returns to Poland. Penalties will not be. This is how the system slot works." from google translate and sportowefakty I know that for FIM first round qualifiers the rule says that they are FMN allocations. So for example Russians declared their riders for Ylitornio only a few days before, even though the rule says something like 30 days. This includes also the chance of making substitutions until signing on without any fear of fines. But Zengota was there, signed in and rode. Now if they talking about the new weekly slot system, FIM Europe is above PZM. IMO. EDIT: Reading the ISL rule, FIM and FIM Europe only have first call on Saturdays and restagings on dates in question. Edited April 26, 2018 by f-s-p

racers and royals 8,712 Posted April 27, 2018 I forgot that the SEC scoring format would be used in the qualifiers- top 2 to final and next 4 in semi with top 2 into the final.

erinil1 7 Posted April 28, 2018 Does anybody know when they will present the wildcars for the SEC Challenge? Besides one Italian rider (is Covatti fit/still riding?) and probably a Polish rider (with Pieszczek as the lonely rider) who will get the two last places? They will do it quick- Monday at the latest as the Challenge final is next Saturday !!! It also looks as if FIM EUROPE and One sport have altered the number of qualifiers from the challenge going to the SEC series proper to 5 from 7- which gives them 5 picks for the 4 round finals.
