If I remember correctly they tried to run a GP from Riga and it was rained off, so moved to Daugavpils the next day. Struggling to find a direct flight to Daugavpils from the UK. Anyone have any idea what train services are like in Latvia?

Went to Daugavpils a couple of years ago for a Lokomotiv fixture. Flew from Birmingham to Kaunas (Lithuania) with Ryanair and hired a car from there. It was about a 2 hour drive and the road was fine. We were back in Kaunas for tea. You nay find that the Kaunas flights have now been replaced with flights to/from Vilnius, but that's no great shakes. At £35{ish} each way, you can't argue. Weekend deals on car hire are also very affordable and diesel is cheap. The stadium is good and the racing is usually excellent there. Latvia and Lithuania have come a long way towards being up to western standards, and my two travelling companions and myself had a great time out there. Have fun
uk_martin 1,606 Posted December 29, 2017 If that Chorzow fixture is set in stone, then that coming the day before the first Extraliga Play-Offs Final could make for an entertaining weekend.

The big question is whether the BSPA have reveresed their policy of handing out 28-day suspensions for riders taking part and only allowing teams with missing riders to use a NL guest in their place? There's nothing really connecting these two organisations, so whilst the ACU could be dangling a nice juicy carrot, the BSPA could yet wield a big stick to anyone who takes a bite. Still, maybe that won't affect those two really British riders, Tai Woffinden anc Robert Lambert, eh? Edited December 29, 2017 by uk_martin

Col 854 Posted January 9, 2018 OneSport are as equally as useless at confirming events as the BSPA are at confirming averages. I don't know how many emails that are unread in their inbox, but at least 5 from me.
f-s-p 832 Posted January 9, 2018 Think you’re the useless in this one. First we have to get all the FIM dates. If SEC announces dates and the FIM later wants them, it’s theirs to take. So no point in going public at this point, blame on the FIM. FIRMLY!
Col 854 Posted January 9, 2018 So why couldn't OneSport tell me that in an email? How does their inability to reply make me useless? If the event in Daugavpils does take place I was planning to attend, but until confirmation of dates comes through I wont be booking any flights.
