It wasn't changed to fit Scott as it was never implemented in the first place. Was it illegal for all the other years the rule existed??

No. But this year it was because it was applied to riders of equal standing in a differing ways. It's easy. Apply the bloody rule or not. But do it to everyone. 3

Stainlesssteelride 106 Posted February 24, 2018 The rule used to be no riders above 6 in top league can double unless they already had a lower league average. This year's was no rider above 6 can double unless already has a lower league average. Looks the same to me.

No, it used be that no rider with a top league average over 6 could ride in the lower league at all.

comet49 314 Posted February 24, 2018 The difference seems to be that they were already 2nd tier riders and not one wanting to drop down, not having ridden there.

I was talking about riders dropping down who, until last season's change, wouldn't have had a 2nd division average and therefore wouldn't have been allowed. As far as being the same rule goes, the wording has changed with nearly every issue in the last few years so little wonder that everyone struggles to keep up, although last year's free for all was the major cock up which caused the situation of the last few months.
