Your first link is valid, the second one is irrelevant.

Why do you think the second is irrelevant?

At least one of them is fake.

Do we have a problem with radical Islam? Yes.

Is posting a picture of Pakistani crickets fans with a title of "Muslims celebrating terror attack" the best way to go about challenging this problem? Absolutely not.

Agree with that, except the Pakistani cricket fans post isn't valid in this debate if Trump didn't retweet it (if he did then it's valid).

Why do you think the second is irrelevant?

Because Trump didn't retweet thosee did he?

The ones he retweeted are relevant and it appears one of them is fake so he was foolhardy to retweet it.

It isn’t Trump who will set off the next car bomb or suicide bomb in Britain. It’s more likely to be one of the hundreds of ISIS murderers, torturers, rapists, and child killers our government has allowed to return here.

So, after his latest little Twitter misdemeanour, what's the view folks?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-42172032

Moreover, should he be arrested if he ever sets foot on UK soil?

We live in a world where the lunatics are ruling the asylum at the moment. I am not sure of Trumps motive for doing this. There are more effective ways he could build a campaign against minority groups if he wanted to. It's a bit like Theresa May posting a Twitter of some Ku Klux Klan rally and saying it was typical of what happens in America.

A bit of a dumb move by Trump IMO but also a bit of a storm in teacup compared with some of the other things going on in the world, and in the grand scheme of things Trump is nothing compared to some of the other leaders Britain has to deal with and has had to deal with in the past.

Trump has a state visit to Britain coming up plus a Royal wedding to an Americam citizen. If he played his cards right he could have made his state visit a roaring success, and on the back of the Royal wedding, it could easily have raised his stature and popularity at home, knowing the way many Americans feel about our Royalty, but I can't see that happening now.

An own goal from Trump but ultimately its America's problem not ours. Britain has bigger problems to think about right now.

Not only the equivilant of Theresa May tweeting videos of Klu Klux Klan, but ones which state it is "Christians" doing stuff.

It was totally idiotic of Trump to do this. Regardless of the content of the videos and whether it is fake or not, he is tweeting stuff from a far-right group in the UK. It, basically, confirms that he, himself, has extremist views.

I've tried to give him the benefit of the doubt on many of his stuff, but this, really, confirms where he is coming from. If it stops the UK following what USA do all the time, though, maybe it isn't such a bad thing.

There is absolutely no chance of Trumps visit being a success regardless of how he acts/performs during it.

The media will twist everything into a negative fashion as they know it creates division, generates sales/clicks and all around is good business for them.

The majority of folk are too dumb to actually investigate what did happen or was said and will take headlines at face value.

Don't misunderstand me, there is much that Trump can be criticised for but at least 80% of the crap you read in the media is twisted, manipulated nonsense that a very quick investigation into what actually happened would reveal.

I don't see where you are coming from here.

This is nothing to do with the media - other than the fact that they reported it. He did retweet stuff from Britain First, which is just plain stupid.

And, by the way, the first thing I did when I heard the story was go to his Twitter and see if it was true. It was. No media twist.

I'm not referring to this particular instance which is a valid case, I'm talking about every single day since Trump took office.

I would agree with that, although, yesterday, he did rather prove their own point for them.

From the comments I am hearing it is extremely unlikely that he will be invited to the wedding, apparently Meghan cannot stand him and has made public her views in America.

A common thing, I encounter many people who say they cannot stand Trump, he's this.. he's that.. Then when I ask them why it becomes interesting.. "Because he is!" is the most common.... "But why?" .. "Don't you read the news?".. "Yes, so why?".. then they start coming out with stuff such as "He said this"... I point out he didn't actually say that... or what he actually said in full was this... but they won't have it. Even when you show them the actual evidence, they are so gone they can't process it. THIS is the power of the media and it's relentless onslaught.

Does Trump have faults? He most certainly does but nowhere near to the extent the media make out.

Example. the constant articles about who can prevent him from launching a nuclear attack etc.. just utter scaremongering nonsense.

Speaking out your dislike of Trump is a standard now, it increases your popularity with the hyenas on social media.

It all began with the 'wall' and the false twisted reporting from the media who claimed he had said that illegal Mexican immigrants were rapists and criminals etc. He actually of course said that SOME of them were. He also said that SOME of them were good people. "Trump says Mexican immigrants are good people"... doesn't really generate those clicks and hits does it... "Trump says Mexican immigrants are rapists and criminals".. boom all hell breaks loose.

As for the 'wall', nothing new at all. The Democrats wanted one for some time. Obama himself was wagering a war on criminal illegal immigrants. Do people bother to find this out? Of course not.

Just 4 posts in, and Jeremy Corbyn gets a mention. Incredible.

Just to reiterate, this thread is about 'The Donald'.

Condemn him or support him? Views?

Is he right or wrong, in this instance, to promote videos circulated by 'Britain First'?

And the question I've asked - should be be arrested if ever he visits the UK?

NO!!!!!

Out of the three videos, one, with it's description, is fake. The 'muslim immigrant' attacking the chap on crutches was neither muslim, or an immigrant. The other 2 show actual events. Trump should have checked the voracity of all 3 before he put his name to them.

However just because the source is an organisation you don't agree with doesn't mean the content should not be heeded. If the Socialist Workers Party put out a video of Theresa May murdering a puppy I wouldn't be screaming 'left wing scum' at them. Facts are facts, wherever they come from.

All I'm seeing is folks going on about the fake one. What about the content of the other 2?

the other 2 are just 2 from a catalogue of hundreds of similar things

If folks out there who are rightly too busy earning money and looking after their families had the time to look at what is out there there'd be hell to pay. Which is precisely why the Establishment are so desperate to suppress it.

Hence the creeping censorship on sites like Facebook & Twitter.
