Absolutely anything that is slow paces and from the 60s or 70s. Can't be having anything that gets people excited.

You really do have an ageism problem. Most of the 60s and 70s music I listen to would not be described as slow-paced. Of course you wouldn't know - it's far too good for the likes of shallow kids like you ;-)

Got to keep in touch with what the fans want and stuiff that the average fan can relate to...

Glenn Miller,

Val Doonican

Bing Crosby

Andy Williams

Frank Sinatra

Perry Como

and maybe a bit of Barry Manilow for the younger contingent on the terraces...

...remember Gary Glitter's 'Rock 'n' Roll' was often played during American Football matches...one team in particular (can't remember who) but was dropped after allegations were made against him.

That was the New England Patriots. Always remember a snow game against the Dolphins in 2003 when Tedi Bruschi got a pick 6 and the crowd celebrated throwing snow in the air in time with Rock 'n' Roll.

I remember during Nigel Wagstaff's tenure at Cowley each rider had a tune/song allocated to them and was played prior to the meeting...never really caught on.

Used to at Hull, Boulevard too, quite popular with fans.

In addition to afore mentioned tunes:

We're gonna Win - Def Leppard

Chainsaw Charlie - WASP (really).

The opening of the differently-toned chainsaws starting up (ok they are moped-like 2-strokes) followed fast 120BPM heavy metal guitar, a bit like Motley's Kickstart My Heart, always reminds me of the a start a speedway heat.

As an aside I Keep meaning to have a musician friend 'score' the sound of a speedway bike, i.e the exact key and note.

And, please, if tracks must play songs by Kiss (my fav band) please (please) don't play Crazy, Crazy Nights. The band have been in existence since 1973 and have many, many more suitable, up-tempo tunes.

E.g. Psycho Circus (welcome to the show), Detroit Rock City, Creatures Of the Night, King Of The Nighttime World, I Love It Loud (used a lot at ice hockey, a bit like We Will rock You), Tomorrow And Tonight, Rock And Roll All Nite, etc. I could go on (just did)....
