Easy one...Armando Castagna. Enjoyed watching him during his one season at Cowley (1995)

Armando was great in his time as a Witch.

Paulo Salvatelli was entertaining in his brief spell too.

Does Nico count now??

Whilst Nico rides on an Italian licence, he is still Argentinean :P:wink:

Was that the same with Emiliano Sanchez?

Actually,i am not sure this is correct.Covatti rode for Italy in the SWC and you can't do that just with an Italian licence, you have to have Italian citizenship.Ferjan couldn't ride for Hungary until he got his passport, despite having a Hungarian licence.Maybe Covatti has dual citizenship though

Many Argentineans have Italian, or Spanish roots (grandparents etc), just like many Aussies and Kiwis have British forefathers. There were many Italians who emigrated to North and South America in the 19th and early 20th century.

Sanchez, Covatti, and others, are all born and raised in Argentina and are pure Argentineans (even speaking Sapnish as their first language), but have Italian ancestry, which allows them to apply for dual nationality when they come to Italy and so can get passports from two different nations. Many do this because it makes it so much easier for them to live and work in the EU.
