Guest Posted December 16, 2017 (edited) These three riders, left to right Charlie Oates, Ted Gibson and Cyril Page, rode for Tamworth in 1947. I know that Gibson rode for England into test series in South Africa in148-49 and 1949-50. He also promoted in Spain in 1950 and 1953. I would be interested in any information regarding the Spanish ventures please. Oates was in later seasons a member of the Liverpool team and I think had a 15-year-old Peter Craven working in his garage business at one time?
