This would be a great chance for speedway to make national news for good reasons for a change if they came out and said that the Grid Girls remain.

Andreas Jonsson (and Jacob Thorssell) have taken a stance against Grid Girls.

Kristian Hysén is executive president of IMG Sweden and he agrees with AJ's opionon and says that he will work for
Grid girls to stopped being used. He also says that the phenomenon is considered old -fashioned in Sweden but that
other countries disagrees.  https://www.svt.se/sport/motorsport/efter-kritiken-grid-girls-kan-forsvinna/

The world is far too politically correct.   If a girl wants to earn money as a grid girl then why stop her.   No one is forcing her to do the job, it's her choice to earn an honest sum of money.

Those that are 'offended' should get more to do in there life.   Too many people find offence at the slightest thing and it means the small minority rule for the majoritry because they are offended and something has to be done as a result.

I'm grossly offended by those who find offence.    Tell them to go forth

It’s not about being offended. I’ve nothing against looking at attractive women.

It’s just tacky for the same reason that I’ve never understood why it’s necessary to drape rather fake women over cars to sell them. I find it rather insulting that someone would think they could sway my purchase that way.

If they feel that strongly maybe they should not ride where any grid girls are present,  including the GP, World Cup, European Championship and Polish League.

Another crazy idea would be to stop using grid girls. There is absolutely no need to still have them. Grid girls are a thing of the past
and isn't something that should be present in 21st century motorsport events.

Your opinion and one that I disagree with entirely. I see nothing wrong with them or the concept and have every sympathy for those losing jobs that they love.

Why?

Folks continuously trot out the same old scripted lines... but never come up with any legitimate reason.

The "PC" argument is " stop exploitation of Women" but in actuality it is Male Chauvinists making sure there are less jobs for Women & their place is in the kitchen only.
