I'm not saying anything about yesterday. Polish riders were not good enough and I agree with all you said.

But why can anyone remove World Cup completely only to punish Poland for being too strong?

BECAUSE if we aren't careful the only viable speedway in the world will be taking place in one country ... Poland. And that cannot be good for anyone, including Poland.

Agree again but yet again the problem is money.

BSI wants to make money and it only comes from Poland.

Otherwise they would not stage all main events like Pairs this year and SWC next year in ... Poland.

If it is about promotion of speedway, just make sure finals are in other countries than Poland.

What about Pairs 2020 in Manchester then SWC 2021 in Sweden and Pairs 2022 in Denmark?

But let's face the reality. BSI will not make enough money that way.

Some brilliant racing which shows that the format can work but it would still be better with 4,3,2,0 scoring and the team with the highest point score wins.

If last night proved anything it's that the 4-3-2-0 SHOULDN'T be brought back.

There has been some brilliant racing under the standard system with rider's fighting hard to get to the front.

With the 4-3-2-0 rider's would just sit 2nd & 3rd and any decent racing would be null and void.

Never should the 4-3-2-0 scoring system be used again.

POLAND had everything in their favour last night. Didn't have to qualify, home advantage, etc. Any suggestion that the track was doctored against them is not only pure nonsense but also sour grapes. Like GB they had a Wroclaw rider but, unlike GB, also a World No. 2. No excuses.

the track was too wet for the poles and many other top riders, woffinden commented about it in his interview, you see Wroclaw on tv every week and it’s never that wet, it played into our hands and we took it we were brilliant, let’s hope it’s the same tonight, top riders should be able to adapt to conditions but there were some Wroclaw track specialist who looked very slow last night, on another point someone told me last night that woffinden wants cook out of GB cause of a tweet Cook made, I remember seeing the tweet and it was awful but do you know if that’s true ?

Brilliant by GB, why on earth Lambert wasnt named in the main team from the off is odd considering the form he has been in this season.

Annoying to read on Facebook that Zach Waijtknecht has to nearly self-fund his trip to Czech for the u21's and yet the SCB / BSPA can waste an air fare on Craig Cook.

We'll see after tonight. If it's not a sell out then the SON may as well of run the 2 day SON final at Belle Vue.

Polish manager is moaning that that track was doctored by Phil Morris. Said it was not the same as when the Polish riders practiced on it earlier this week. Said it went against his riders and played into the hands of the Brits. Said he would make sure the track is as it should be tonight.

Hope Phil Morris stands up to him and tells him to take a hike.

Why should the track be how it was with the Poles practicing on it all week. How would that be fair on everyone else.

What a grumpy old tw@

It's like they don't want any competition at all.

It was prepped totally different but we are talking about 2 GP riders in janowski and dudek not a couple of 2nd division kids, they should of been able to adapt, no excuses

Phil Morris is a neutral , as we all know Phil is Welsh.  The under 21 reserve rule & Robert Lamberts current form has panned out brilliantly for team G.B. Question can the Poles change their team for tonight? as they have plenty to choose from.

On a slightly different note why are Poland allowed to stage 3? G.P.s this surely gives the Polish riders a huge advantage.

No teams can change once declared. As evidenced by clueless Rosco who tried to replace Cook with Bewley last week.

ALL valid points and as the owner of a weekly speedway magazine I would love to see speedway get the support in the UK that it does in :Poland.

Regarding BSI, of courser they need to make money, a profit as well as covering their considerable overheads: fees to the FIM, providing TV coverage, all the infrastructure and staff required not just at the weekends but throughout the year. Swedish and Danish tracks, especially, are experiencing a downturn because both countries lack a real superstar performer along the lines of Tony Rickardsson or Nicki Pedersen (at his best) to attract media coverage. There were no Danish or Swedish journalists in Wroclaw. There was a lull for Poland when Tomasz Gollob went off the boil and before the new group of Polish kids came to the fore. The attendance for the last SGP in Bydgoszcz, once an automatic sell-out, proves the point.

I believe Germans are allowed to replace Huckenbeck as he is injured.
