Tai had four laps to try and help Robert pass Emil. It would have been better to lose 5-1 trying to do that than lose 4-2 while he clears off.

Yep.Lambo was close enough. Just needed Tai to try and slow Emil.

Despite all the gripes about the rules , as a speedway fan I thought it was fantastic entertainment

Very unlikely

Trying the unlikely option is surely better than not trying and just giving the World title up?

Top scored and won the final heat and lost, doesn’t feel right somehow but well done Russia, I like the 2 riders against 2 but implement it in the SWC

I quite agree.. Well done to Russia.

But if there was any natural JUSTICE - we won that.

Once again Speedway is made to look daft - situation normal then.

Television has a lot to answer for.

DOUBT it. Emil was always going to pass Lambert

All the more reason for Tai to let Laguta go and try to block Emil.

Lambert was all over Emil at the end. With a bit of help he could have got past.

In any other race there would be no point Tai hanging back and getting passed by Emil, but in a one off final they may as well have risked giving away a 5-1 to give Rob a chance.

As I said it's all implied. If you'd seen previous anti-BSI/Phil Morris stories on SF you woudln't be quite so naiive.

I don't disagree that the Polish media is anti BSI. My point is simply that none of that can be attributed to the Polish manager, which is what some were suggesting.

BECAUSE either way Lambert had to pass Sayfutdinov

With a bit of help he may just well have done.

If it wasn't for Woffinden we wouldn't have been within a Rossiter team talk of the final, stop bellyaching for Christ's sake.

And by the way, I detest the guy.

Bit dissapointed in Tai in the final but we wouldnt of been of anywhere near a final without him... plus the people who love to bash him will now have an excuse to

Brilliant over the two nights but got the tactics horribly wrong in the final. What on earth was he thinking?

It's just a legitimate tactical discussion.

No-one is criticising his overall performance, which was simply magnificent, but he probably chose the wrong option in that one race.
