Smolinkski lifted when his back wheel hit the white line.

That wasn't the reason I said that; when you are that much on the grass, you do run the risk of that. There is some grip, but I feel the surface needs a few more races.

You have your bv goggles on.

As a neutral Lambert looks like he is riding fine.

Rosco thinks you're wrong too.

Think that was a mistake to put Cook in,even though Denmark aren't too good.Maybe thought it was a good chance to give him a heat, but Lambert was on the pace-Get some points on the board first.....

Sorry Tai, but what's the point of looking over your shoulder after the final bend.

At this point, you still have to be looking to win races; that will change in the knockout heats.  Thing is, while team riding IS important, I don't think the tracks and the machinery make it as easy as it used to be; it is more about speed now than track craft.

Oh, and I guess we know which Lindback showed up tonight.

What a cock-up from Jason Doyle.

Should have been able to team ride a 5-1 over the Germans easily, but just went off on his own leaving his partner to get picked off.

I accept the important thing was for Tai to win the race, but I don't think he looked once until the race was over.   But maybe that was his instruction, I don't know.
