MEETING OFF

And that's why I will never buy a ticket online in advance in the UK except for Cardiff where they've got a roof.

Poor Jack T....... all the way from Norwich and back only for the meeting being called off 90 minutes before tapes up. And Claus presumably over from Denmark for the night.

Well, at Swindon if the meeting is called-off up to one hour before start time you get an instant full refund to your card. After that it's the standard terms, but enough to make it very worthwhile, especially since there's no booking fee and you get a free programme worth £3.

It can be done fairly and in a way that supporters can trust the promotion. If they can do it.......

Buying online you can either attend another match if you can’t or don’t want to you can ask for a refund on your ticket and it will be refunded.

Reckon it could have been called off about an hour earlier.  But never going to keep fans happy no matter when you do it.

Season delayed a little bit longer for me.

Agree with Gaz about starting season in April.

Time for Chris Harris to get a 9-5 job by the looks of his whining on Twitter.

Completely understand the desire to spend time with his newborn, but to make reference to his wife's birthday, and it being Easter is pathetic.

Better check for any family milestones, next time it's a bit wet on a Friday.

He has a point. The forecast has been atrocious all week and even predicted snow at one point.

Total nonsense from Harris. Maybe he should have thought about this before signing for a club at the other end of the country.

Can't see his time at Tiggerland lasting long if he takes the hump every time there is rain in the air, which is almost every week at Glasgow. Absolute plonker.

Have to agree,20 years ago He would have wanted to ride in these conditions, the Promotions are in no win situation regarding the weather these days.

The annoying thing was that if the meeting was at glasgow it would have been on - 39 miles apart but clearly differing weather patterns!

Think most Monarchs fans would agree that Armadale has its own Micro- Climate,a few years ago the meeting was dry but a mile away it was pouring down.

There's only one plonker here and it's not Harris

Hahaha, you probably know yourself that rainfall statistics for Glasgow are at the higher end for any place in the UK where speedway takes place. So, with that in mind, is Chris going to cancel his journey every time he checks the met office forecast and sees rain on the horizon? Let's hope not, or you guys ain't gonna see much of him. I'll repeat. Plonker. Utter plonker. He's contracted to attend meetings and race. Not whine like a baby on Twitter.

Overreactionfest.

He probably shouldn't have said what he did but why start name calling and suggesting that he won't last long? All a bit silly.

Jeez he didn't whine. He said he was disappointed and frustrated just like every Glasgow fan that travelled through. Like the fans that phoned the track and no one answered, like the fans that looked at Facebook and saw a post urging them to turn up, despite it apparently been raining for some time and the fans that turned up when it wasn't raining to be told it was of. So stop trying to divert attention away from the real issue here which is the shocking way the Edinburgh promotion treat fans
