If the weather plays fair we will finally see some action this season with the visit of 2017 playoff finalists on Wednesday. Wolves will have the slight advantage of having a meeting under their belts, as they ride at Belle Vue on Monday. Their positions in the team may well be different to above.

The forecast at the moment is for a day of sunshine and light showers so if it stays like that it should go ahead. Unusual for Poole to open with a league meeting. Can’t remember when that last happened.

Looking forward to seeing the new track in action. I think Poole should get the win. A good time for Wolves to come when the team are not dialled but think we will be too strong.

Thoughts?

desperately looking forward to this one (lets get going)  will be in the restaurant with the sponsors super people who just quietly support the club in many ways, big well done to them. In the superb  speedway star edition this wk i see the official wolves reporter predicts poole to finish 6th in the league, that certainly is a guy you want to have round for an evening of cards providing he brings loads of dosh with him!

I agree Keith. The only way, IMO, that we can finish 6th is if wr have 3 KKs riding for us!!!

Gavan I sit with SS & for all his protestations, he is a pessimist when we actually have a match. Whether Wolves ride or not on Mon we should beat them comfortably.

What of Part of “I think Poole should get the win. A good time for Wolves to come when the team are not dialled but think we will be too strong’.

Sorry but your above post really does confirm you really are a trolling idiot!

The first of many Poole wins this season. If any team can restrict the Pirates from getting 50 points in any match they will have done very well.

Let's hope for no mysterious engine failures or issues from ANY team this early part of the season who are looking to fudge averages to bring any ringers in tho.

Boring. You have said this for the last 2 years. We didn't moan in October. We laughed!!!

Can't see Thorsell or the two Wolves reserves scoring many points so should be a very comfortable home win. As brum has said it's highly unlikely anybody will be able to get near Poole on their own track over fifteen heats this year.
