There is only light rain forecast and like mentioned above it hasn't rained in workington for the past couple of days. Hasty decision imo, an they wonder why crowds are down. Ian Thomas would never of called a meeting this early with only light showers forecast.

something tells me its on .  no feedback from my chap !

so looking at the glasgow site , its off . but the workington site has no mention of it being called orf .come on workington speedway , get yer fingy out and tell us on or orf .

more stale buns for the following week !

You could donate your saved money here.

£350 spent on diesel og flights and no racing. Thats just great.

Looking at the forecast its  maybe a wise decision and an early call should save riders travel expences, still gutted though having used last days of hols for this weekend.

Thought Proctor now had a British passport. Wasnt that why he sat out coming here 2 or 3 years ago?

Yeh, I seen both teams at full strength too. Comets had call off on Twitter over 3 hrs ago,  weather forecast changed. Disappointed there was no mention on Border news last night after good coverage last week.  It is raining now and has been for a while.

Will Chris Harris always drive to Glasgow or is it feasible to have bikes there and fly from Exeter sometimes?

Danny Bird used to fly up , so maybe he will .

In the aftermath of the disappointment of a much anticipated weekend of speedway being washed out we have learned three things .

1 The weather is thankfully meant to start warming up this week

2 In a league of only 11 teams , there's no reason to start the season before the middle of April

3 From certain posters on here apparently only Edinburgh have proper rain offs . Everybody else , especially Glasgow , have an ulterior motive for calling a meeting off lol .
