The Scottish Open 2018

Taking a look at the Edinburgh fixture list for 2018 I notice that they do have a "Caledonian Riders Championship" on June 6, but I can find no date for the traditional "Scottish Open Championship" ! 

Will this most prestigeous of all Scottish Individual Speedway events not be held this year ?

Confirmed by Edinburgh tonight the 2018 Scottish Open will be Friday the 11th of May.

If Marius Hillebrand scores a point, I'd be surprised. A very raw rookie, even here in Germany. He has lots to learn, but seemingly he's ambitious. He comes from the same area of Germany (near the Lake Constance) as the Riss Brothers.

I think we should be in for a decent enough meeting. Any from Masters, Schlein, Worrall, Riss, Wells and even Ben Barker could come out on top.
