Scorpions vs Diamonds - 13.4.18 19.30

Recommended Posts

Line ups im guessing will be like this:

Scorpions - Guest or R/R, Stef, Josh, Jake, Jase, Danny boy and Gino

Newcastle - Lindgren, Tero, Rose, Wethers, Robson, Wilko, Morris

Scorpions should win this comfortably, although predicting big scores from Wilko and Tero

Only Redcar, Peterborough and Sheffield not riding so not many options

R/R might be best especially against this opposition

We saw how poor Barker was last Friday

Peterborough only really have Nicholls but his average too high

There's Howarth or Laser Bjerre but would you want them getting track practice a week before they visit with Sheffield?

Ully riding very well so far this season and seems to fly around Scunny. Let’s be honest, could pick anyone and should still win.

Hopefully it will stop raining long enough to come down for this one and support the Diamonds, for what will be my first meeting of the season!

I'd guess at Kyle Howarth for the guest spot for Stevie, if they don't go down the R/R route.

Wouldn’t give any of the Sheffield lads a guest spot , believe we can use anyone from championship and approx 90 % of the riders for the guest facility . Never been a lover of R/R if you get a heat leader injured early on your chasing it , in Rob Godfrey we trust

R/R for me on  friday, should have enough firepower to cover stevies rides, i agree it shouldnt be a sheffield rider though, same group and all that.

I would go guest at redcar and at newcastle and sheffield, hopefully track specialists and a guest at home against sheffield, not to sure about redcar or newcy away but reckon Lawson at sheffield and maybe King at home v sheffield?

Overnight rain expected later but clearing early morning should give the track a natural watering then prepare the track later. Not much wind later on & temperature around 12C so wrap up.

It is going to be R/R tomorrow & Lewis Kerr was booked for tonight at Redcar & Sunday at Newcastle. Next week, we have booked Lawson at Sheffield & TJ for the home leg against Sheffield.

Guys - just a quick one.. Im doing a Grand National Sweepstake for our injured super skipper Stevie.. £2 a go - 40 tickets... £30 to the winner, £15 second and £10 third. All the rest of the money goes to Stevie. Pop and see me on the scaffold stand during the meeting or when im going round with young Jack (mascot) doing his collection.

Is there anyone going to this meeting who would be able to text updates to the Updates site? If so, could you please send me a private message which includes your mobile phone number.

Thanks
