Nice to see Heeps off the mark & Ash maintaining his form.

The pre-season prediction of a Pirates juggernaut is looking a bit wobbly at this early stage. Time will tell I guess.

Early days, stick by them. Growing pains but Poole will walk the league this year

Beaten fair and square. My score prediction before the meeting wss spot on. A totally expected result. They boys battled but home advantage is huge and time and again the rides put themselves in the wrong place on the track.

You are not going to learn the lines in two meetings a season. No one will get much at Monmore this season.

Difficult track Steve, very specialised, but i did expect more from Kildemand to be honest.

Brady gated in the lead twice but the slightest twtch offline exiting bend two scrubs enouh speed off to let both Wolves riders through.

I am not disheartened to be honest. Our reserves are no match for theirs around there andShanes had Greaves from the back. Spanner was a typical Pole around there pn his first visit?

Kildemand should have done better though.

Shanes needs to go. He is dead weight and will not improve because the standard of reserves is too high for his ability at this moment in time.

Ford went for a stronger upper order .Shanes started on a 2.88..Is average so far this season after 4 matches is 2.46. He will probably do his average tbh. all you can ask of him. You have Holder back soon. You should be ok. Don't forget you got Linus, Killer and the 2 Poles on "good" averages..Oh and Holder on a "bargain" ave. May be Ford can wriggle Greg in for Shanes as well..;)

Poole are a better team than we have seen so far? I know its not their fav track, but does anyone know how Poole's gating was. That seemed to be where they were lacking up to now.

Well I predicted a 12-14 loss so I wasn't far off. A 'Poole' fan overreacting a bit on here to me with all this changes talk, or cos I support Southampton FC I am too much in the losing mindset.

Don't think Chris will improve this team very much when he returns 2 more away league matches before we are back at wimborne road time will tell I suppose

Can’t believe the negativity to be honest. Do people actually expect us to go to Monmore and win with this team? Was never going to happen. Give the team a few weeks and it will look a lot rosier.

The league isn’t won in April.

Our gating was poor to mediocre.  Not as bad as last week but not good.
