IOW V Eastbourne Thursday 26th April

Recommended Posts

Tough ask for the Warriors even to win the meeting ,let alone reverse the large deficit from the meeting at Eastbourne,,,there are showers around but hopefully all will be ok tonight..Good luck to all the riders...

don't see anyone beating morley tonight but only backed up by hopwood & campos so they've been playing catch up from ht 1 . should be a close one.

IOW lose by 6 points to Eastbourne ,,.Though Ben Morley was.in a league of his own 15 point max,,,with good back up from Hopwood and Campos 10 points apiece,,,but the other 4 riders only got 7 points between them,,,,shows the IOW have serious problems at  the bottom end..Changes are needed and soon  if they are to be competitive  even at home..Eastbourne are a solid outfit but without a real top end,,one or two of there good youngsters need to make the step up to make them serious contenders...

Spot on Waco. Morley in great form at present, Hopwood doing his job and Campos punching above his weight (partial pun intended). The tail does have serious problems though. Verge will have better nights but Widman is a major concern and Sealey being beaten by the home guest asks a lot of questions. However IOW are a loyal club to their riders and will give them a fair chance but alarm bells must be ringing.

Eastbourne had their top end not entirely firing and still won comfortably as the reserves are going from strength to strength. To be fair it won't be the only team to get turned over by the Eagles but feel the Warriors are slipping out of the winning habit again.
