Hardly the biggest surprise in the world- Vaclav Milik is the wildcard with reserves Josef Franc at 17 and Eduard Krcmar at 18

Should anyone be interested & fancy more speedway nearer to hand than 4 hours to Poland, then there is a 1.Liga Divisov meeting on the Sunday after GP at the Marketa. Basically for reserve riders starting at 3pm along the lines of a 4-team tournament. The more the merrier.

Don`t know any line ups but I believe it`ll be reserve riders & you maybe able to get an indication of line ups from the Speedway Star `big issue` at the beginning of the season or by looking at each Cz team`s website. Sorry I can`t be of any more help.

I assume Nicki will ride despite declared "long time injured" by his Swedish team manager?

Agree with you Ghost that the decision is strange but Nicki Pedersen rides in Poland but then says his hand is too sore to ride in Sweden.    What is his Swedish TM supposed to do ?

Use R/R. One cannot declare a rider "Long term injured" and replace the rider if the rider rides 2-3 meetings in a week during his "injury".

Going to the Prague GP for the first time. Any hints, tips, or places to go would be appreciated.

Taxi from central Prague to stadium or bus etc?

Cheers

Tram 22 to Bila Hora will take you very close to Marketa.

If you want a beer near Marketa there is no better than this brewpub:- https://www.klasternisenk.cz/

Avoid pubs and bars in central Prague.Too touristy and piss take prices!

I haven’t been for a few years- hasn’t the metro been extended now with a stop near the stadium- or that might be the airport ?

Magnus beware of pickpockets !!!

You are correct. The Metro A line now has a stop at Petriny, which is just a 5 or 10 minute walk from the stadium.

Put me down for £10 on Jason Doyle to win or at least get on the podium.

It will, the stop you want is "Vypich".

Well worth downloading "CG Transit" from company called "Circlegate", which is available for both Android and iOS
