Everyone seems very eager to get a rider a seven day ban. No doubt the Aces management will enquire as to the validity of his inclusion tonight.

More a case of ensuring the regulations are followed

If that means a 7 day lay off then so be it if thats what the particulat regulation states

Whether the Aces management choose to enquire about his validity is irrelevant.

Aces will be well aware as they would question his availability.

So if Lemo is happy surely nothing to see here move on.

Both lawson and howarth riding tonight makes a mockery of the rule book can anyone explain how they have got away with it .

Far from it - perhaps a cliche but what about transparency?

Also regarding Lemo being happy with it - so what if he is.

Two teams cant between themselves just choose to ignore the regs

Lawson wasn't injured

Thats rules out section 'g' out of 'a' to 'n' of the facilities section of the regs then

Perhaps you could indicate under which of the remaining options the facility was granted......

Was he ill?  What exactly was the reason he missed Saturday?

Can only go by what lakeside put out,  which is unavailable due to illness, which is covered by a 7 day ban.

I read he was unavailable because of a family illness - not necessarily him!  So compassionate leave which probably isn't covered by that rule.

Well I called it earlier on that I thought we might sneak a point, and with Doyle and Holder continueing their fine form from Poland yesterday it's a pity we didn't get any more. Belle Vue no doubt weakened by having no Worrall but it's unlikely Charles Wright will have another stinker of a night again considering the form he's been in this season.

A good well earned point it seems.

Obviously the circumstances of Cook missing the Workington meeting resulting in him missing the KO Cup final MUST be have been completely different to Lawson missing Lakeside and Howarth missing Sheffield.

Both lawson and howarth were reported aa been "ill" so no difffence at all.
