With the reserves that the Monarchs have especially Pickering,  Ruml will perhaps struggle along the same lines as Bickley,   can see a mini repeat of the Workington match

Sounds about right having no fresh shale down will only help Monarchs , all they have to do is outgate Panthers and the meeting is in the bag .  It's laughable really having very little shale on what is supposed to be a racers track and that's not down to the riders just shear bad management

Depends what the Showground allow them to do and what our finances allow. That's not necessarily bad management but the way things are these days.

The riders have to be able to ride it. There's no excuse for Lambert wobbling like a novice in heat 2 and having to be babysat by Ostergaard in heat 4 only for both to be passed or our number 1 not winning a heat.

Don't think this will be in looking at the weather.

Met Office says fine all day, as of 10.45 pm Sat! In fact if they get on with it the dog will still get out for a walk in the sunshine.

You have far more confidence in the current Monarchs team than I do as a Monarchs fan :o

Without shale, these days, it should be £5 to get in and £3 for concessions.

Yep fine all-day today now.. yesterday it said rain all day!..although lots of rain last night..should be ok. Let's hope Panthers can get the fans back on side after Fridays embarrassment.

The way British Speedway has gone that's becoming a realistic charge anyway given the overall entertainment package.

After blowing the cobwebs away and suffering Rathbone's ire on Friday I doubt that there will be a repeat here at least. Workington's team looked to be big trouble as it proved. Edinburgh do not carry that threat or have that solid look (famous last words. I await the Stilton prediction!) but who knows.

a testing meeting for the big cats . i think Fridays result was a shock to ALL comets fans , especially me !  had it down as a home win , but good to get that result .

edinburgh dont look that strong as in previous years but they have a few good riders who can turn it on at peterborough . pickers, etc .

its going to be tight, but cats have something to prove now. no home win and Rathbone will have to write a new script to read to the panthers faithful .
