Indeed but petty jibes when they don't win are unnecessary. It's good that a promotion are willing and able to invest in a club to improve it and its stadium for the paying customer.

Harris, Starke and Sarjeant have been very disappointing and should be doing better.

It’s just a bit of fun.

I think what the Glasgow promotion have done is fantastic and absolutely it should be welcomed. They do need to rethink how they build a team though.

Shame about the money digs but utterly predictable unfortunately. Well done Edinburgh.

Glasgow have some serious underachievment in their ranks and seem unable to her everyone going on the same day.

The petty digs are par for the course if you only have the brain capacity the size of a garden pea it explains it to a degree.

As for today well done to Edinburgh they thoroughly deserved it and basically just wanted it more.

As for us were do you start, we have blown the myth that you don't become a bad team overnight right out the water as we in a nutshell have , too many underperforming at the same time.

I think this team will come good eventually as they have shown in fits and starts they are pretty potent ,but bottom line is you can spend what you want but it does not give you the divine right to win anything.

Plenty head scratching to be done but it happens we dust ourselves down and come back for more but all the snide digs should only spur us on hopefully.

Once again well done on the thoroughly professional job the Monarchs done on us today.

Don't think any Monarchs fans saw that coming, especially after it seemed all to be slipping away early on.

But speedway can be a funny old game - and Tigers fans must be wondering what they do now.

To be honest it probably creates a conundrum for the Monarchs' management too, as I'm sure there must have been some thoughts about possible changes even before today. But should they now put faith in this squad or go ahead and think about changes...?

Hit the nail on the head. We are paying the price for flawed decision making over the winter. There are 3.5 points between Sarjeant as senior reserve and the next averaged rider, an impossible bridge to gap when one of the 1-5 need replacing. A decent reserve can take 7 rides, a rubbish reserve cant. Sarjeant is what he is, a 3 point rider, bar his time at Ipswich, but here we are somehow perplexed that he is unable to improve. This isnt rocket science, it was known about when we somehow offered him a contract.

The other glaring issue is Harris, I dont believe for a minute he was a Dickson signing having suffered previously with a so called big name on the wane in Joe Screen. The only consistency is his inconsistency, we really dont want to hear any more about engines.

This is where the team manager earns his stripes, new averages next week, crunch the numbers, make some calls and make some positive changes if available.

Did not see that result coming, Glasgow seemed to have done all the hard work on Friday to win the tie.

Looks like its not going to be the year of the Tiger either Scottish or the English.

Good match, best Team won,Sarjeant is a liability with his exclusions ,Team managers nightmare Pickering hero and nearly villain ,needs to show a bit more teamwork just about blew for Monarchs in Ht14 with some over the top riding came close to taking Garcia out on last bend and finished up last when they had the match won.Harris is proving to be a problem for Tigers at No1 but will he get it right before the end of season!! Starting to wonder.Hope Max is ok, that as a heavy fall.

flash the cash tigers will have to start again to win any thing

They used to get criticised for running the club on a shoestring and lack of investment.  A case of damned if you do damned if you don't.

Most seem to applaud investment in the sport and reportedly the lion's share (er, tiger's share) of the money invested at Glasgow has gone into buying the stadium and its renovation.  The Glasgow promotion are also reported to be aiming to break even on regular costs, and in any case it isn't like football, you can't just buy your way to title success and do a Chelski or a Man Utd or Man City and buy all the best riders, in speedway the points limit sees to that.
