Isn't hancock on a 3yr contract.   Promotion this year and next the goal.   Plenty of money at his club.   Crazy that a current GP rider is taking part in the equivalent of the National League.

Absolutely. The score would have been even wider had Morris inexplicably not gone through the tapes and they had used Hancock and Jedrzak in heat 15. An utter one sided rout which makes a farce of league racing at this level. Hancock must be on a pretty penny to be riding at this level. Taking candy from babies, without risk. No chance really of an inexperienced kid taking him out because he is gone out of the tapes and no one is near him.

  • Thanks 1

Greg is a smart cookie on how to make money,he will hardly see another rider in this league after the 1st 30 metres.

Plenty of money with the new owner but there are already suggestions that some payments haven't been made to other members of the team so far this.

Hancock himself apparently has a separate contact with the owner rather than the club which gives him a guaranteed income regardless of matches ridden or points scored.

Hancock doing very well for himself.     Easy money as he looked as half speed today.     Every Sunday must be a profitable Sunday.

Hancock is smart. He is adding to his pension pot in a large way if his club has got the money as reported. Hes in the GPs, will realise that he career is now limited, but going racing a safe way to build up his pension. As been said, he gates, doesn't get into many tussles so less chance of injury, not stressing his boday as much, and no doubt the numbers thro the turnstile increase which will please his team. Win, Win all the way.

It's funny to see people's reaction to Hancock and Poland. Because it is Hancock, he is being smart. Had this been an older rider in the third level in Britain, the National league, there would have been uproar, calls for bans on older riders taking the place of youngsters.

I said above it was crazy.    National league in the UK is probably very low pay, more of a hobby for the riders who break even or just above.  Doubt a top UK rider like Nicholls or Bomber would ever go that low but Hancock will be on big wages.  Can't blame Hancock, he is a pro and has to earn but the system is wrong when a GP rider can dip into the 3rd tier.
