cyclone 943 Posted June 7, 2018 Teams as per Official Monarchs Website:- STAGGS BAR MONARCHS: Ricky Wells, Joel Andersson, Max Ruml, Mark Riss, Erik Riss (capt.), Coty Garcia, Josh Pickering. THOMAS ARMSTRONG COMETS: Rene Bach, Rasmus Jensen, Ty Proctor (capt.), Dan Bewley, Nicolai Klindt, Kyle Bickley, Mason Campton According to the above, both teams will be at full strength, which does not happen that frequently at the Dale. Whilst Monarchs are also-rans in the Borders Group, should Comets manage at least a draw, they would progress to the semis, at the expense of Glasgow who would also then not progress as the best runners-up. As Monarchs last competitive match was their away victory at Ashfield on 27th May when they knocked the Tigs out of the KO Cup, it might take them a few races to get up to speed. Expect a close match and plenty good racing As an added bonus, the introduction of a big LED screen to Armadale Stadium, believed to be the first in the SGB Championship, is expected to be running at full capacity on Friday. This will show live feeds and replays of the action.

Taylorj 1,000 Posted June 8, 2018 2 full cars heading up to Armadale, I think the Tigers will be pretty safe progressing to the semi's on one of the specialist tracks with a massive home advantage. Wells and Riss will be nigh on unbeatable , we never really do very well up there but hopefully our boys prefer it a little more than Lakeside

Mr Blobby 2,650 Posted June 8, 2018 Will be a tough one tonight the comets are a solid side who all know the way round Armadale, going for a narrow 2 point home win. But wouldn’t be entirely surprised if the comets nicked it.

workyboy 96 Posted June 8, 2018 Depends on two riders for the comets. Which Rene will be there or will it be the worzel gummage Rene? Will it be Nicki klindt or Nicki klump that'll be there. Go get the one point we need!!
Fourentee 987 Posted June 8, 2018 Would be delighted (and surprised) if Workington do enough to go through tonight. As Taylorj notes, it's not the most productive of venues for the Comets. But we live in hope.
