Peterborough v Glasgow - Sun 10th June Championship

Peterborough face Glasgow in their second match in three days with what looks like another close encounter at Alwalton which starts at 5.00pm.

Panthers hand a debut to new signing Ellis Perks and it will also be the first match for Bradley Wilson Dean this year.

Teams

Peterborough - Scott Nicholls, Ellis Perks, Bradley Wilson Dean, Michael Palm Toft, Ulrich Ostergaard, Simon Lambert, Tom Bacon.

Glasgow - Richie Worrall, Lewis Kerr, Claus Vissing, Paul Starke, Chris Harris, Jack Thomas, James Sarjeant.

The Tiggers could get a hammering or they could do well, difficult one to call, although I expect a Panthers win but would love a Tiggers win

Have heard the A1 north bound is closed at Alconbury this weekend, as i'm someone travelling from Newmarket would anyone local or who knows the area know how much of a diversion this intails?

Highways Agency website not much help. From Newmarket I would travel via Ely, March and Whittlesey - miss out the A14/A1 completely.

OMG had nightmare run home to cambridge  following Fridays supporters club event. what advice can you give for sunday, or shall we not bother

To Cambridge, possibly Whittlesey, March, Huntingdon, St Ives?

Yes the A1 is closed def the Huntingdon part as in when you join it from spittals but you could go up to the Brampton hut and join it there instead.

Yep, but can see Perks getting on the pace soon enough. Not so sure about Bacon though ...

We really don’t have anything to lose in replacing Bacon as harsh it sounds. Shame Redcar signed Greaves as would have been a good fit

Todays meeting at the showground was the best this season by far , close racing thrills and spills plenty of overtaking and a tight scoreline for most of the meeting , great stuff .
