Morris will be in the 1-5 for the first time with Cameron dropping to reserve so that will be interesting. With the rebels unbeaten at home will be happy with a point from this one

Glad Lawson has been moved from 5 to 4, had high hopes for him yesterday, and was disappointed. Im no expert but he didn’t seem to want it like the others. Maybe a drop in confidence is going on here, he needs to up his game especially at the OTA. Good luck to Jack , hopefully the No 5 jacket had not come too soon for him. Doyley looking like he is slowly getting back on it , so Rebels by 10 for me.

Hi folks, any recommendations for a Pub local to the track that does good food and beer prior to the meeting? Thanks

Looking forward to this one. A chance of a few showers this afternoon but nothing that should get close to putting the meeting in any doubt.

Tricky match this one too seen as we haven't had a home match in about 3 weeks, especially after Wolves won here last year and track specialist in Howarth, as well as Masters, Schlein and Thorsell who have all scored well before. Somerset need a big comeback from Lawson and Allen to pile up the points at reserve. I'll go for the Rebels by 8.

A point should be the target for tonight. Good luck boys.

Thank you, and good night ;)

Another good meeting in front of what seemed a half decent crowd again. Rebels just too strong for Wolves in the second half of the meeting when we started making some half decent starts.

For Wolves they never really looked like winning it as Howarth and Masters were way too inconsistent, whilst Heeps was pretty poor at reserve too. Schlein started on fire but faded massively whilst Thorssell was his useless solid self.

For the Rebels, we started slowly but soon kicked into live and it felt like we could of won by 20 if we really kicked on. Doyle wasn't at his best and still hasn't nailed the right lines yet at the OTA since coming back but solid enough. Holder was mighty quick and it's criminal he only got 6 points for his efforts. Lawson and Wright back to good scoring form at home which was great to see. Lawson again is never ultra quick but when he has someone behind him trying to pass him he manages to make his bike about 10foot wide, such a great tactician on the defence. A shout out for Jonas too, if only he could gate he would be a top rider. He has so much speed when he is behind and his pass on Howarth was vintage, reeling him in for 3 laps trying the inside and then winding it on around the outside on the final turn. Great stuff.

Tough match next week with Poole back in town and their fortunes starting to change. Could be another close one!

Disappointing result in the end. What is it with Wolves starting so strong away from home and fading away?

We have done so well up till now but we can’t keep wasting opportunities like this.

im sure the management are eyeing up options as we speak.

the expected issue of Jacob at number one isn’t the issue however.
