bigcatdiary 3,165 Posted June 16, 2018 Panthers complete their Championship Shield group matches tomorrow looking for a win which will see them apparently qualify for the semi finals as the best runner up. Panthers go into the fixture with a full team whilst Ipswich are missing the unavailable Michael Haertal with no facility being granted. Teams Peterborough - Scott Nicholls, Ellis Perks, Bradley Wilson Dean, Michael Palm Toft, Ulrich Ostergaard, Simon Lambert & Tom Bacon. Ipswich - Rory Schlein, Cameron Heeps, Nico Covatti, Georgie Wood, Danny King, Connor Mountain & Danyon Hume.
Baldyman 6,243 Posted June 16, 2018 Should be a comfortable enough win for the panthers
LagutaRacingFan 1,931 Posted June 16, 2018 We will qualify, other 2nd placed teams are on 13 points from 6 matches, that equates to 2.17 points per match. If we win, we're on 9 points from 4 matches, that equates to 2.25 points per match.

It says so in the news item: " But victory over the Witches on Sunday will give the T.Balfe Construction Panthers the best record of any of the second-placed clubs, and therefore they would take the last place in the semi-finals." - which bit don't you understand?
